Online Banking Development Mobile App Redesign
The Asia-Pacific Bank is the largest regional bank in terms of assets, one of the largest banks in the Far East. The Self team faced with the task of designing and developing Internet banking for all major platforms: Web, iOS, Android, as well as a redesign of mobile applications.
For ATB Bank, we developed the design of Online Banking for all major platforms (Web, iOS, Android), based on the provided guideline and brandbook.
The process of developing online banking took 10 months from the start working on the concept and business requirements to production launch. Online Banking was developed for Web, iOS, Android platforms. The app rating in the AppStore after the redesign has grown from 3.2 to 4.7 points.
To develop the Internet and mobile ATB bank, we interviewed several groups of families, conducted customer journey mapping, which allowed us to design interfaces focused on the evolution of a digital bank into a family digital platform.
One of the main customer requirements was the creation of online bank. Three creative sessions were organized to search for possible solutions of customer base expanding. For example, one of hypotheses took into account the geographical location of the bank. We decided to focus on the family bank hypothesis. We considered that the perception of the family as a bank client will increase the number of potential customers as well as promote further growth of audience loyal to the bank.
